Are you an Environmental Consultant, or an emerging professional from the mining industry or other sector, who wants to be valued for your experience, both professionally and financially?

Work directly with clients, build meaningful relationships, and apply your judgement across a genuine mix of projects close to home, not the same task on repeat. Step into a regional consulting role where your influence extends well beyond delivering reports.

Why Join Us?

  • An established consultancy with trusted and growing list of local clients: work within a stable, well regarded business delivering meaningful projects to our predominately mining customer base.

  • Varied, hands‑on work: a genuine mix of office based technical work and site involvement, with end‑to‑end project ownership.

  • Autonomy, trust, and support: a flexible and supportive workplace where your judgement is valued.

  • Room to grow: Step into leading projects, contributing to delivery approaches, and guiding others, with support from experienced senior staff.

  • Local focus: Residential Geraldton role.  No FIFO churn, working on projects close to home.

 About you

You’re an environmental professional who brings sound technical capability with a practical, solutions focused approach.  You might be working as an Environmental Consultant or Advisor, or similar role within the mining industry or other setting, and are looking to step into broader responsibility including leading components of work or projects as your experience grows. You enjoy working closely with clients and colleagues and are comfortable taking ownership of your work in a small, high trust team.

  • Values aligned and people focused: Personable and engaging, with a friendly, approachable style that builds trust with clients, regulators, and colleagues.

  • Strong communicator and writer: Capable of producing clear, high‑quality technical reports and communicating effectively across a range of audiences.

  • Reliable and adaptable: Comfortable managing your own work and adjusting to changing priorities.

  • Team oriented: Willing to support others and contribute to a positive, high-trust team.

  • Leadership potential: Interested in guiding junior staff and growing into broader project and technical leadership responsibilities.

  • Bonus points for strong problem‑solving skills, a sense of humour, and the ability to crack the occasional bad pun.

 Key Responsibilities

Depending on your experience, you will take on a mix of independent delivery and growing leadership responsibilities:

  • Deliver environmental consulting work across approvals, licensing, compliance, and operational support, from scoping through to final reporting.

  • Prepare high‑quality technical reports and documentation, applying sound judgement and attention to detail across a range of project types.

  • Coordinate and manage assigned projects and deliverables, including client liaison, scheduling, and quality control.

  • Support other consultants, through mentoring and technical input, maintaining quality and consistency across deliverables.

  • Undertake site work and secondments, contributing directly to client outcomes in operational environments.

  • Prepare proposals and support business development activities, including identifying opportunities and maintaining client relationships.

  • Provide practical, experienced based advice to resolve real world environmental challenges.

Location and work arrangement

This is a residential role based in Geraldton, working closely with local clients and projects. The role is not FIFO. Relocation support will be considered for the right candidate.

Your Experience

We’re open to a range of experience levels, with a preference for someone who can grow into leading projects and supporting others as their capability develops. You bring experience that allows you to contribute immediately to a hands‑on consulting role, including:

  • Environmental consulting experience, ideally within approvals, licensing, and compliance focused work.

  • Experience liaising with regulatory and stakeholders, providing clear, practical advice.

  • Mine site experience, including site‑based work and operational support (desirable).

Who Are We?

We’re a regionally based and focused environmental consultancy, with a residential team delivering practical, high quality approvals and compliance support to mining clients across the Goldfields and Mid West. Our clients value experienced, hands on support to help meet legislative and social licence obligations.

We’re a small, close knit team with strong local knowledge and operational mine site experience. Our approach is practical and straight forward: we focus on understanding our clients’ needs and consistently delivering work that meets expectations.

We’re a boutique consultancy. We value flexibility, trust, and clear communication, and we’ve built a workplace that’s supportive, professional, and enjoyable to be part of.

We’re intentional about building a business that supports both our professional goals and our personal vision, with our team being part of that success. As the consultancy continues to grow, there is genuine scope for people to contribute, develop, and be involved in the next stage of the business.
