Our client is a family-owned egg producer based near Kalbarri on WA’s Coral Coast. Producing eggs since 1992, their vertically integrated business includes a Kalbarri-based layer farm and packing shed, and a Perth-based distribution centre. With 70,000 layers and a strong focus on bird welfare, egg quality, local feed inputs and practical farm improvement, the business continues to grow and innovate.

The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for keeping the packing shed running smoothly, accurately and on time. You’ll manage the grading floor, coordinate people and workflow, keep orders moving, and act as the key link between farm production, packing and distribution.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead daily grading, packing, recording and dispatch operations
• Manage rosters, workflow, timesheets and labour requirements
• Coordinate orders across regional customers and distribution channels
• Oversee invoicing, customer follow-up and basic administration
• Maintain and troubleshoot grading and packing equipment
• Support continuous improvement strategies across the packing shed

About You
Our ideal candidate is organised, reliable and calm under pressure, with experience leading people in a packing, processing, warehousing, or food production environment.

Key requirements include:

• Strong people leadership and workflow management skills
• Experience in a fast-paced production environment
• Confidence with administration, records, orders and timesheets
• Mechanical aptitude or willingness to learn grading equipment
• High attention to detail around quality and dispatch accuracy
• Forklift licence or willingness to obtain a ticket
